This installer is for non-UIW network users (i.e. logging on to the network from your home or off campus)
1. Type or copy and paste this URL into your browser: https://connect.uiwtx.edu
2. A page with the statement “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate” may or may not open, depending on the Internet Explorer security settings on your computer. If it does open, click Continue to this website.

3. The Login page opens, type your UIW network username and password. 4. Click Login |

| 5. Read the disclaimer and click continue | |
|
6. Click the blue download button (site will detect what operating system you are on) |

7. Run the download |
|
|
8. Double click to start the install |
|
|
9. Follow the prompts and contine with the install |
|
|
10. Once the install is completed, locate the AnyConnect Icon and open the program |
|
|
11. Enter connect.uiwtx.edu into the text box. |
|
|
12. Sign in using your UIW credentials |
|
|
13. Accept the VPN reminder 14. Program will show a connected message and the VPN set up is complete |
