View EchoVideo Livestreams in Canvas
Some departments or programs may offer classes as real-time live streams. Watching a live class is very similar to viewing a pre-recorded (video-on-demand) class, with the main differences being:
- The live stream plays in real time and cannot be rewound or fast-forwarded. You have the option to show or hide the stream and mute the audio.
- If your network connection slows the playback, causing it to fall behind the live event, a catch-up button will appear to help you sync back to real time.
To access a live stream in EchoVideo:
- Log in to Cardinal Apps and open Canvas LMS.
- Navigate to the course being live-streamed and open EchoVideo.
- Find the class with the Live button next to the title and select the class to open the livestream.
- Select Show Live Stream.
