Install Epson iProjection App for macOS
WCAG Notice: Epson iProjection is a third-party application developed and maintained by Epson. As such, UIW has no control over its interface or accessibility features. WCAG compliance of the application itself is the responsibility of Epson as the software developer.
Free yourself from the podium in classrooms with Epson projectors. Epson projectors support wireless connection using a Windows or macOS laptop, iOS, or Android device with the help of Epson's iProjection app. To check if your room has an Epson projector, contact the UIW HelpDesk.
Step 1: Download the Installer
Download the Epson iProjection app for macOS.
Step 2: Launch the Installer
Open the downloaded file and select iProjectioninstaller.pkg to launch the installer.
If prompted with a pop-up stating 'This package must run a program...', select Allow to proceed. This may appear one or two additional times.

Step 3: Agree to Terms
The installer will start. Continue through the steps until you reach the Software License Agreement, then read and agree to the license to continue.

Step 4: Select an Edition
Before proceeding, choose the edition that applies to your role:

For Instructors: Select Standard Edition

For Students: Select Participant Edition
Once selected, select Continue. Ensure the Install for all users of this computer option is highlighted, then select Continue again to proceed.

Select the destination to install to. If you aren't sure, select Continue.

On the following screen, select Install and enter your computer password to proceed.

Step 5: Close and Move to Trash
After a few moments, the installation will complete. Select Close, then choose Move to Trash to remove the installation package from your computer.

Step 6: Eject
Locate the iProjectionV401_MacOSX drive on your desktop. Right-click the icon and select Eject.

Step 7: Launch the App
Launch Epson iProjection to configure additional settings. You can find it by searching for it or navigating to Finder > Applications > Epson iProjection > Epson iProjection.

Note: From this point onward, the instructions apply to users who selected Standard Edition. Participant Edition users may encounter a slightly different app experience or pop-ups.
Step 8: Configure Settings
On first launch, read the privacy statement and select Agree to continue.

Select Allow or Decline on the usage survey prompt. This is optional and only determines whether usage data is sent to Epson.

When prompted to choose a connection mode, select Advanced Connection Mode, then check the Set the selected Connection Mode as the default mode... box to prevent this prompt from appearing at every start-up. Select OK to complete setup.
