Install and Setup the Epson iProjection App for Windows
Are you tired of being tied to the classroom podium? Do you want a simple way for students to connect and present to the entire room? If a classroom is equipped with an Epson projector, participants can wirelessly connect using a Windows or macOS laptop, iOS, or Android device with the help of Epson's iProjection app. To install the app for Windows, follow the guide below (for macOS users, please see here). To check if your room has an Epson projector, refer to the Epson projector room location document. To install Epson iProjection for Windows:
- Download the latest version of the Epson iProjection app.
- Open the downloaded file and select OK.
- If prompted, select "... allow this app to make changes".
- Click through the installer.
- Select the type of application to download.

For Instructors: Select 'Standard Edition'

For Students: Select 'Participant Edition'
- Select Next and Finish.
- Launch "Epson Projection Ver 4.01".
- Select "Agree" and "Allow" on the first start-up.
- Select "Advanced Connect Mode" and check the "Set this Connection Mode as the default mode..." option.
- Select OK.

Step 1: Download the Installer
To download the latest version of the Epson iProjection app for Windows, you can directly visit the following URL: https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/iProj_4.01.exe
Note: The installer will download automatically upon selecting the link above. The installer can be found in your downloads folder.
Step 2: Approve the Installation
If you see a pop-up asking "Do you want to allow this app to make changes," click Yes to continue. If you're asked for a username and password, please use your local admin credentials or reach out to the UIW Help Desk for help with the installation.
Step 3: Run the Installer
After running the Epson installer, 1) click OK to initiate the setup tool. Then, 2) click Next to proceed with the installation.
Step 4: Agree to the License Agreement
Before you start the installation process, carefully review the License Agreement. Once agreed, choose the relevant application type based on whether you are a student or an instructor.

Step 5: Wait for the Installation to Finish
During the installation process of Epson iProjection, you will see an 'InstallShield Wizard Complete' message. Just be patient as the installer runs and installs the software. The duration of the installation process depends on your computer speed. Select Finish to continue.
Step 6: Open the App
To proceed further, we must launch Epson iProjection and configure some additional settings. You can find and open Epson iProjection by either searching for it or going to Start Menu > EPSON Projector > Epson iProjection Ver.4.01.
Step 7: Agree to the Privacy Statement
Select "Allow" for the privacy policy and then choose to either accept or decline the usage survey.
Step 8: Set First-Time Options
Finally, we need to adjust the connection preference. Since we are in an educational environment,1) select 'Advanced Connection Mode' and 2) click the "Set the selected Connection Mode as the default mode..." box. This will prevent this pop-up from appearing on every start-up.
