Signing into the Zoom Desktop Application
Make sure you have downloaded and installed the Zoom desktop application. If you have not, follow this guide first and return here: https://help.uiw.edu/support/solutions/articles/17000040412
If you have Windows, go to step 1a
If you have Apple MacOS, go to step 1b
Windows - Click on the start menu in the bottom left of the screen, scroll all the way down to the 'Zoom' folder, click on the folder and select the Zoom application.
For ease of discoverability, right click the app > more > Pin to Taskbar. This will save the app to your bottom taskbar.
Alternatively, you can search for 'Zoom' in the 'Type here to search' bar at the bottom.

Apple MacOS - Click on the 'Finder' icon in the bottom right of the screen, click 'Applications' on the left, scroll down to the Zoom.us application and double click to open.
Alternatively, you can click and drag the Zoom app to your desktop or dock for ease of discoverability,

Choose the 'SSO' option upon the first time launching the app
- You will not need to login each time, only the first time.
For the company domain, type 'uiw' and click continue.
Click the 'Open' button on the pop-up prompt, or select 'Launch Zoom'
*You might be asked to login on this step. If so, login with your UIW email and password. The same credentials used to login to Cardinal Apps.
Zoom is now signed in and you'll always join meetings with your official UIW account! Once you've seen this dashboard, you are in your Zoom hub and the app will open on this page each time and all your meetings will know who you are by seeing your UIW account. Within the Zoom app, you can...
- Scheudule meetings
- Manually join a meeting
- Instantly start a new meeting using a random ID or your PMID
- View upcoming meeting with the 'Meetings' tab
Signing into the Zoom Mobile Application
Make sure you've downloaded the Zoom app for your iOS or Android device. Instructions can be found here: https://help.uiw.edu/support/solutions/articles/17000084449
Then, launch the Zoom app from your mobile device by finding and tapping on it.
Tap the 'Sign in' button
Tap the 'Sign in with SSO' option.
If you get the screen* asking for a 'company domain', type [ uiw ] without the brackets, then click Continue.
*If you do not see this screen, move on to Step 5
You'll be taken to the UIW sign on page, login with your UIW email and password. These are the same credentials you use to login to Cardinal Apps.
The app is now signed in with your UIW account with options to start, join, or schedule a meeting!
