Use this how-to document to solve the issue of Adobe DC asking for a serial number on licensed Adobe software for Full-time Faculty, Staff, and Employees ONLY!

Example of Error:

 


Locate and open Adobe Creative Cloud
Find Acrobat DC in your list of installed applications

Locate and click on the 3 dots to the right of the "Open" Button

Click "Uninstall"
   
***The uninstall can take a few minutes***
Allow Acrobat DC to uninstall


Then locate Acrobat DC in the list of available software and click "Install"

***The installation can take a few minutes***
If you receive this message during the installation, please disregard it and allow the installation to finish.



Once the installation is complete, click "Open" and test out Adobe
