Enable cross-site tracking in Safari or FireFox
By default, these two popular browsers have a setting called 'cross-site tracking' disabled. To learn more about what this entails, you may read an explanation here. This setting can sometimes break or change how websites work or load information so it may be necessary to turn the configuration off, sometimes.

- Visit the website for which you'd like to turn cross-site tracking off (If you're having trouble with a Canvas tool, head to Canvas via the Cardinal Apps tile and continue to step 2)
- Click on the shield to the left of the address bar.
- Toggle the switch at the top of the panel. This will turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection for this site.The page will reload automatically and allow trackers on this site only.
- Open Safari, choose Safari (upper left of screen) > 'Preferences' > then click 'Privacy'
- Select "Prevent cross-site tracking" to turn it OFF (no checkmark)
