Saving a Projector's Address in Epson iProjection
If a classroom is equipped with an Epson projector, participants can wirelessly connect using a Windows or macOS laptop, iOS, or Android device with the help of Epson's iProjection app. However, if you frequently present in a space, it can be cumbersome to follow the instructions to connect to the projector each time. This guide will show you how to save a projector's address to quickly connect without searching and matching the projector's address every time. To save a projector's address:
- Open iProjection and search for the projector you want to save.
- Open Epson iProjection on your Windows or macOS device.
- Select Advanced Search.
- Enter the projector's IP Address.
- Select Search
- Select the check box next to the listed projector.
- Select Register.
- Select Create New Folder.
- Provide a name for the saved projector.
- It's recommended to use the room name (Ex. BSH119).
- Select OK.

Step 1: Open Epson iProjection
On your Windows or macOS device, open the Epson iProjection app.
Note: The app can be found within your Applications area for macOS, or the Start Menu for Windows.
Step 2: Configure App Settings
If you've never opened the application or did not set it correctly, you'll receive a "Select Connection Mode" pop-up when opening iProjection.
- Check the Advanced Connection Mode box
- Check the "Set the selected Connection Mode as the default..." box.
- Click OK
Step 4: Find the Projector
Next, we need to find the projector to connect. We'll be using the information displayed on the projector in the Wireless input to find the project.
- Select Manual search.
- Within the "Projector list" box, enter the numbers next to the "IP Address" label displayed on the projector screen.
- While using the Wireless input, the projector will display the IP address and other information, which consists of a sequence of 4 numbers separated by dots (e.g. 10.26.117.23).
- Select the Search button.
Note: Each projector will have a unique IP address, so yours will be different from the one pictured above.
Step 5: Register
With the projector found, we need to register to save it to our app for quick connection. 1) Select the checkbox next to the projector status and select Register.
Step 6: Save the Projector Settings
- Select Create New folder.
- Provide a name for your projector.
- It's recommended to use the room name (Ex. BSH119).
- Select OK.
You will now see a new file tree on the left side with the folder name you created and the projector you are connecting to, which has been added to that folder. This saves the projector information so you won't have to manually enter the IP address every time. You can now simply double-click the projector name and click 'Join' to quickly connect to that projector every time.

Yes. You can adjust the name by right-clicking the name and choosing the Rename option.
