How to Upload Files to OneDrive
Before you begin...
Microsoft OneDrive is the cloud storage solution at UIW. It offers near-unlimited, private storage for your files and offers a bevy of conveniences and features to your stored content. Only you can see your OneDrive content. When content is stored in OneDrive, you can access your content from any device with a working web browser and internet connection.
For the safest experience, please make sure you're using either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome as your web browser.
Step 1
Login to Cardinal Apps and open OneDrive.
Step 2
Click on 'My files' on the left side of the page. This will open up the main space where your files are kept.
Step 3
Click on the Upload button () towards the top of the page, then select either the Files or Folder option, depending on what you'd like to upload.
Alternatively, you may drag and drop your files into the browser window to upload them (see below). You'll see a dashed outline when hovering the file over the window, which will allow you to let go and upload the file.
Step 3a
If you chose to use the Upload button (), locate and select the file(s) you'd like to upload into OneDrive, and select the 'Open' button when finished. Your interface will look slightly different depending on your computer (macOS or Windows).
Done! Your file is now securely uploaded to OneDrive and is now in cloud storage, which can be accessed from any device with a working web browser and internet connection. Learn how to share your content once it's uploaded to OneDrive.
