For Canvas courses using SoftChalk assignments, students are advised to use only Mozilla Firefox or Safari. Using any other web browser can prevent the “Finish” button at the end of SoftChalk assignments from displaying and your work will not be saved or submitted. To avoid losing your work, locate the Finish button before you begin to ensure you won't have any problems completing the assignment.

1. In the Canvas course where the SoftChalk assignment is located, open the assignment.
2. Read the instructions provided by your teacher.
3. Click Continue to acknowledge the message that states that you must click the Finish button on the last page. You may see an option to resume work if your teacher used the setting for multiple attempts.
4. Once you begin, you may see a Finish button on each question. Click Finish to save your work. 
5. Ensure you click Finish at the end to submit your entire assignment.
