Get Started with JMP
JMP is a statistical software program designed to facilitate data visualization, exploration, and analysis. Accessing and Installing JMP
Request Authorization to Use JMP
To use JMP at UIW, an administrator at UIW must add you as an authorized user. To request access to JMP, submit the JMP Authorized User Service Request.
Downloading & Installing JMP
Upon being granted access as an authorized user for JMP, you'll receive email instructions on logging in to the My JMP portal and downloading JMP software. For direct instruction:
- Open the My JMP Portal
- Select Log in
- Enter your UIW email address
- If you haven't signed in before, you'll be asked to enter a first and last name, then verify your email via code.
- Enter the verification code sent to your UIW inbox.
- Select Verify
- Select JMP Pro for academic multi-use
- Select a version of JMP to download

First-time Login Instructions
After installation, authorized users will log into JMP with the email that an administrator authorized. This should be their UIW email address. Users can use the guide below to understand logging in for the first time.
