Copy Content to Another EchoVideo Course
Sometimes, the perfect kind of video is recorded and shared. It can be hard to top a great video. There may be instances where you'll need to reuse an old lecture or demonstration video in a current EchoVideo section. With the Publishing option, you can share EchoVideo content that you own with other courses, collections, and people.
- Open EchoVideo from Cardinal Apps or a Canvas course
- Select Courses and open the course where the old piece of media is stored
- Select the media button
next to the item needing to be copied, then select Details
- Open the Publishing tab, then select Classes
- Enter the Class Details
- Select Add To Class
- Within the Course dropdown, select the course to which you plan to copy the content to
- Select the active Term
- Select the Section
- Select whether to add the media to an "Existing" or a "New" class. In most cases, and for this guide, we recommend you create a "New" class. This is different than a "Course".
- Provide a Class Name: This would be something like "Lecture 1" or "TOPIC" and is separate from the name of the media.
- (Optional) Select the Date option under Unavailable if you want to set a date for the copied content to expire. Leave as Never if you don't want the content to expire.
- Select Share
