Known Issue

There is a known issue with New Quizzes in Canvas where using the "Copy To" function to copy a New Quiz from one section to another may not transfer all questions properly. This can lead to point discrepancies or incomplete assessments.

Workaround

If you are experiencing this issue, the known workaround is first to duplicate the New Quiz in the original course. Then, copy the duplicate to the destination course. This will ensure the quiz in its entirety will be copied. To summarize:

Delete the incorrect copy in second course to start over.
Duplicate the New Quiz in the original course.
Copy the duplicated New Quiz to the destination course.
Verify the New Quiz copied over in its entirety.
Delete the duplicated quiz in the original course for clean-up.
