Poll Everywhere Reports
Reports in Poll Everywhere are included with your UIW presenter account. If you aren't accessing Poll Everywhere with a UIW presenter account through Cardinal Apps, you may not have access to all of the options in this guide.
Introduction to Poll Everywhere Reports
There are five report types to choose from in Poll Everywhere. All of these report types can be printed, saved, or downloaded as a CSV file for further editing, calculations, or archiving in spreadsheet software like Excel.
Executive summary: Visual big-picture overview. Shows engagement, total responses, and participants with a screenshot of each activity.
Responses by participant: One section per participant, one line per question. If a group of questions was used as a survey, use this report to view each participant's responses in order.
Response pivot table: Full detail table with one row per response, perfect for exporting to Excel pivot tables. Useful for grouping, crosstabs, or computing sums and averages.
Participant response history: One section per participant, one line per response. Shows when and how each individual response was submitted.
Gradebook: Compact table with participants listed down the left and questions across the columns. Shows scores, participation, and attendance. Sort by rank to use as a leaderboard.

Reporting Options: The options area of reports lets you customize the data you include.
-
Accessing Cleared Responses: Presenters often re-use an activity for different presentations and clear responses in between sessions. Once you clear the responses, they are saved and archived on the account, which you can access via Reports.
-
Grade or Score Responses: While grading is only available for multiple choice and clickable image activities, the grading feature allows you to both display the correct answer when presenting and to use the Gradebook report to grade individual performance across multiple questions.
-
Download a Report CSV File: Every report can be downloaded as a CSV file, which is a text file that stores tabular data in plain text. CSV files can be opened up in a spreadsheet application such as Excel.
