Edpuzzle Overview for Faculty
Edpuzzle Overview
Edpuzzle is a web-based platform designed to make video-based learning interactive, trackable, and engaging for students in higher education. It allows faculty to create, customize, and assign video lessons—either from existing online videos (such as YouTube) or self-created content—and embed interactive elements like quiz questions, comments, and voiceovers directly into the video stream. Edpuzzle is designed to transform passive video watching into an interactive, engaging learning experience for college and university students.
Edpuzzle allows faculty to embed questions, prompts, and comments directly into videos. Students must interact with these elements—answering multiple-choice or open-ended questions, or reflecting on prompts before continuing with the video, which keeps them actively involved rather than passively watching.
