Upload Videos to Microsoft Stream
Microsoft Stream is a video platform that allows users to create, share, and view content across Microsoft apps. This guide explains how to upload a video to Stream. Note, Stream is in the process of being merged with Clipchamp and changes will occur as this transition progresses.
Step 1: Open Stream via Cardinal Apps
Log in to Cardinal Apps and open the Stream app, found within the Office 365 Apps tab.

Step 2: Start the Upload Process
To upload a video, click the upload button in the upper left corner of Stream. Alternatively, you can drag and drop your video file to this area to initiate the upload process. If you opt for the drag-and-drop method, you'll skip selecting a file from your computer. If you don't have a video to upload, you can select Screen or Camera recording to record your screen or yourself.

Step 3: Select the File to Upload
You'll need to select the video file on your computer that you want to upload to Stream. Once you've found the video file, select the Open button in the file window to proceed.
Step 4: Choose Where the Video Is Stored
Next, select where you'd like to upload your video. The default location is your personal OneDrive, which is only visible and accessible to you. You can choose Change location to select a different place to upload the video, including SharePoint sites. After you've selected a location, select Upload to proceed.

Step 5: Take Advantage of Stream Features
After your upload is complete, the Stream video player opens. Congratulations! Your video has been uploaded and can now be adjusted and shared with a variety of built-in settings through the Video Settings panel. Add chapters, create a transcript, trim the video, or add interactive callouts.
