MAXQDA is available for all UIW faculty, staff, and students. It can be downloaded directly to a device with the guides below, or accessed through the Virtual Computer Lab (vLab).
MAXQDA Considerations
-
You must be connected to a UIW network to launch/use MAXQDA. If you are not connected to the uiw-employees or uiw-students WiFi, connected to the university's VPN, or hardwired on UIW property, MAXQDA will not launch.
- MAXQDA is available for both macOS and Windows devices and shares an identical interface and feature set.
- You do not need an account to download to use MAXQDA at UIW, but it is beneficial to access deeper features of the product that may be available.
-
Organize Data: Before importing, structure and label your datasets clearly to avoid confusion during analysis.
-
Use Mixed Methods:Take advantage of MAXQDA’s tools for integrating qualitative and quantitative data for richer insights.
