Recording Best Practices
-
Transcript panel: A transcript panel appears when recording starts - you can close it without stopping the recording
-
Multiple recordings: You can stop and restart recording as many times as needed from the same menu - each restart creates a separate video file
-
Video limitations: Recordings capture maximum four people's video streams simultaneously
-
Spotlight feature: Consider spotlighting important speakers to ensure they're always captured
-
Ending recordings: Recording stops when manually stopped or when the meeting ends (everyone leaves or organizer ends it)
Accessing Your Recording
After the meeting ends, recordings are automatically saved to the meeting scheduler's OneDrive in the 'Recordings' folder. Processing time varies from seconds to several minutes depending on recording length.
Important: Only one recording file exists, belonging to the person who scheduled the meeting. However, all participants can submit it for assignments.
