Step 1
Open the Edpuzzle website and click Sign Up to start the account creation process.
Step 2
Choose your status as a teacher or student. Each type of account has specific settings and quirks, so it's recommended to choose appropriately.
Note: If you are using the Edpuzzle Canvas app to assign Edpuzzle activities, students do not need to make an account. See FAQ for more info.
Step 3
Choose Sign in with Microsoft to proceed. This will allow you to utilize your school email for your Edpuzzle account.
Step 4

Step 5
Next, you'll complete some final details for your Edpuzzle account.
Password - This is optional but can serve as extra security for your account. Why is this optional? To sign in to Edpuzzle, always use the 'Sign in with Microsoft' option or access it through Canvas. Setting a password is not necessary, but it can be done for extra security.
(Optional) Referral code - UIW teachers can ignore this option, as UIW has an institutional license. Learn more about referral codes.
Click the box to agree to Edpuzzle's Terms of Service
Select 'Create new account'
Step 6

Step 7
Finally, adjust your Edpuzzle account settings to curate content. These settings will determine the most relevant videos Edpuzzle will suggest to you.
Select the grade level you teach.

Edpuzzle Account FAQ
Does my Edpuzzle account expire?
Yes. After 18 months of inactivity, Edpuzzle will delete your Edpuzzle account and you will lose access to your lessons, projects, and videos. We recommend logging into your Edpuzzle account occasionally to prevent this, as Edpuzzle does not send deletion notifications.
Can I share content with colleagues?
Yes. However, the content owner must continue to sign in every year to prevent deletion of that content. If the owner leaves this university, shared content will be deleted after the 18 months of inactivity as previous employees will not retain access to their accounts.
