Creating a SoftChalk Cloud Account
SoftChalk Cloud helps instructors create engaging and interactive learning content to use in their Canvas course. A SoftChalk Cloud account is necessary to access full features and get started.
- Open the SoftChalk account creation page.
- Fill out the Create My SoftChalk Cloud Account form.
- For the Activation Key, enter: Ghn0HaAVZt5YpJme9fQM
- For Institution/Company, enter: UIW
- For Organization Website URL, enter: https://www.uiw.edu/
- Select the boxes to agree to the Terms of Use and Developers Agreement.
- Select Join.

Step 1: Go to the Correct Location
Open the SoftChalk account creation page.
Step 2: Enter Accurate Information
On the account creation page, create a SoftChalk Cloud account by completing the page fields with the following information:

Activation Key: Ghn0HaAVZt5YpJme9fQM

Email: Enter your UIW email and re-type the email in the third field.

Username: Enter the first part of your UIW email, before the @ symbol.

First & Last Name: Enter your first & last name.

Phone Number: Enter your work number, if applicable. Otherwise, enter a personal number.

Institution/Company: Enter "UIW" and "https://www.uiw.edu" for the Website URL.

Job Title / Role: Locate a similar job title from the drop-down menu.

Organization Type: Select "Higher Education"

Password: Enter a password that fulfills the requirements.

Agreement: Read, then select the two checkboxes to agree to the terms and agreements to use SoftChalk Cloud.
Step 3: Complete the Process
Once the fields are created, click the Join button 
at the bottom of the page to finish creating your account.
